Hello, I was wondering if you can share Free/Busy Calendar information amongst 4 domains? This is using Exchange 2007.

Are these just 4 SMTP domains added as Accepted Domains in your Exchange Org? If so yes - by default this is supported and working.

If you mean 4 seperate Exchange Organisations you will need MIIS.

Hello, I have a question about HMC 4.5 and I'm hoping you can help me. I'm not sure if you have seen the video on microsoft web site. It's here.. http://www.microsoft.com/hosting/solutions/hostedmessaging.mspx
Click on the video exchange 2007 in action. I'm having to create a demo just like this? I was hoping that microsoft would have something bundled up so I can demo this to customers. I've downloaded HMC 4.5 but I'm stuck. Do you know if I have to install off of those componets separate and configure all this. I only have a week to complete this project. Please advise!

hello. What's the demo you're trying to re-create? if it's a mailbox with UM integration you are better off using a provider that has these service already - sign-up with someone with Exchange 2007, OCS 2007 etc and you'll be working within a few hours.

My advice - installing HMC isn't the way to go about this. HMC has many server roles, requires that you build an AD and will take you longer than a week (even in a VM lab)

Did you see the video on Microsoft's website. That's what we need to demo for our customers and what it offers. We have enough servers to perform this and I know that we need a separate domain for this. It's just building all the correct components to make this work. I'm only adding two or three users for this demo. Have you set up something like this before?

Thank you,
Jacqueline

Do you know of what company does offer this? If you look at that video you will understand what I'm talking about. This does make more sense.

I know it's Exchange 2007, OCS 2007, an office phone and cell phone.

Thanks
Jacqueline

Yes, we've seen the video - it was shown at the WW Hosting Summit last year. It's groovy stuff but remember that it's a market video.

You do not need HMC. HMC is a platform for hosting providers, it's a multi-tenancy solution with a provisioning system.

The solution you need is this;
a) Exchange 2007
b) OCS 2007
c) a phone switch/system that works with the above (see Nortel, Ayava etc.)
